WEST JORDAN, Utah (News4Utah) - If you travel on 7000 South near Bangerter Highway, make sure you are aware of the upcoming closures happening Monday.
Here is the latest information from UDOT:
7000 South at Bangerter Highway will close Monday, March 12, 2018 and will remain closed through early May. (weather permitting)
East and west through traffic and left turns will be closed at 7000 South and Bangerter Highway. (See graphic for alternate routes)
Northbound and southbound Bangerter Highway and right turns at 7000 South and Bangerter Highway will remain open.
Construction activities during the closure will include:
Update storm drain, water and sewer lines
Replace and relocate sidewalk, curb and gutter
Install new signals
Reconstruct the 7000 South roadway beneath Bangerter Highway
Work activities are ongoing day and night. Residents, businesses and drivers should be aware of trucks entering and exiting the work zone. Continue to expect noise, dust, vibration and nighttime construction lighting.
