LINDON, Utah (ABC4 Utah) The Murdock Auto Group and Goldenwest Credit Union joined forces to raise money for the Utah chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
For every car sold during the month of January, both Murdock and Goldenwest matched donations totaling $22,500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that cause persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.
"There is is so much need out there right now, it's impossible to pick winners and losers, but when it comes to cystic fibrosis, it's an issue that is near and dear to all of our hearts at Murdock and Goldenwest. We want to support folks who are affected by the disease and try to make some sort of positive impact on their life," said K.O. Murdock, Murdock Auto Group CEO.
Murdock Auto Group and Goldenwest Credit Union have operated for decades in communities across the state.
