SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) It's only March, but we can already start thinking about the fall season and growing pumpkins. To talk about growing pumpkins, Kyle Fox and Lindsay Bench from the Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers joined Emily Clark on Good Morning Utah.
There's a class being held tomorrow, Saturday, March 25th at 9am-12pm. The class is on how to grow a giant pumpkin and it's free to attend there will be free seeds and giveaways. The class is at Mountain Valley Seed Co. at 175 West 2700 South in Salt Lake City.
There are two classes, beginners at 9am and advanced growers at 11am. Classes are taught by Ron Wallace, the two time world record holder and first man to grow a pumpkin over 2,000 lbs (1 ton).
Come to the class to grow a HUGE pumpkin! You can then float the pumpkin at the 2017 Daybreak regatta.
