A Utah woman is reunited with her birth mother 43 years after being put up for adoption.
And, it's all due to their DNA, and a little bit of fate.
Robin Adair Passey was just 14 years old when she got pregnant. She put her baby up for adoption. Then, she went decades not knowing anything about her daughter's life.
After decades of searching for her, she turned to 'MyHeritage', a company that uses DNA to trace a family tree.
Just by chance Becky Skousen used the same company to try and find her birth mom at about the same time.
They both got an email informing them of a match.
The two met in person earlier this year,
And now, another special meeting. Becky's adoptive mom, Caralyn Skousen, is meeting her birth mom. They're celebrating a wedding and will all spend time together.
If people are looking for their own families, they can use a DNA kit offered by 'MyHeritage'.
