HEYBURN, Idaho (News4Utah) - Four young adults from Utah were injured when the vehicle they were in rolled near Hayburn, Idaho early Thursday morning.
Idaho State Police said the crash that happened just before 2 a.m. on I-84 near mile post 221, 10 miles east of Hayburn, Idaho.
A 25-year-old female driver from Tooele was traveling with three other individuals, 23 and 24-year old males from Tooele and a 21 year old female from Orem when she failed to navigate the curve of the I-86 to I-84 connector. The vehicle went off the roadway and over turned into the gore area.
The 23-year-old male was ejected. He was taken by medical helicopter to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. The other three were transported via ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, Idaho. The extent of their injuries are not known.
Police said two of the occupants were wearing seatbelts and two of them were not. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
