Hailey Higgins is a Utah native enjoying the sunshine of St. George as a bureau reporter. Born and raised in the Ogden area, she's a proud Roy High Royal and Weber State Wildcat.
While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in communication with an emphasis in electronic media, she served as news director for Weber State News and 88.1 KWCR.
Hailey headed north to Idaho Falls, ID to get her start in television news in the fall of 2008. She reported for the ABC affiliate KIFI-TV, while working alongside Good 4 Utah's Emily Clark.
In 2010, Hailey packed her bags and moved to the upper midwest, reporting for KELO-TV in Sioux Falls, SD. During her time there, she earned two Upper Midwest Regional Emmys for her reporting on substantial flooding in the state's capital (2011) and for a major ice storm that paralyzed the SD's largest city (2012). In 2015, her reporting on a small town hit by a tornado was awarded with a RTNDA Edward R. Murrow for breaking news. Hailey also anchored and produced the #1 rated weekend evening newscasts.
