Aldo Vazquez

Aldo Vazquez joined ABC 4 Utah in February 2015 and is excited to start his career here in Salt Lake City. He moved to Utah from the Valley of the Sun - Phoenix, Arizona.

Aldo earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Pre-Health studies from Arizona State University in 2011 (Go Devils!).

During his time at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU he was as an anchor/reporter for Cronkite News, the school's flagship program that reaches over 1 million people. He was also a bilingual reporter for Cronkite News En Español, as well as a sports reporter for Sun Devils 101 that airs on FOXSportsAZ. Aldo also played a key role in earning Cronkite News the title of "Nation's #1 College Newscast."

Aldo has earned awards from the Broadcast Education Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Hearst Journalism Awards.

Aldo loves to snowboard and he is looking forward to taking advantage of all the snow here in the Beehive State - something he saw very little of in Arizona. He is a foodie and enjoys exploring new restaurants. He is a big music fan, loves to travel, and enjoys being active by hiking and working out.
