Aldo Vazquez

Aldo Vazquez joined ABC 4 Utah in February 2015 and is excited to start his career here in Salt Lake City. He moved to Utah from Phoenix, Arizona, where he grew up.

Aldo earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Pre-Health studies from Arizona State University in 2011 (Go Devils!).

During his time at the Cronkite School he was as an anchor/reporter for Cronkite News, the school's flagship program that reaches over 1 million people, a bilingual reporter for Cronkite News En Español, and a sports reporter for Sun Devils 101, a magazine format sports show that airs on FOXSportsAZ. Aldo also played a key role in earning Cronkite News the title of "Nation's #1 College Newscast."

He has earned awards from the Broadcast Education Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Hearst Journalism Awards among several others.

Aldo enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. He is a foodie and music fan and enjoys checking out new restaurants and different music scenes. He loves to travel, be active, and work out.
