"A lot of us are fathers in this procession, and to be able to deliver Officer Beck back to his son, his two daughters, and his wife, is just so overwhelming for us. We're just so grateful to be able to do this," said Col. Daniel Fuhr, Superintendent of Utah Highway Patrol.
"Honestly, we've just been so touched by the kindness, the gestures, that have been made in our regard. From the bottom of our heart, we want to thank everybody who has sent their prayers, sent their good wishes, and just reached out to us," said Elizabeth Krmpotich, Beck’s youngest sister.
Two law enforcement families gathered Thursday at the Law Enforcement Memorial to remember two of the officers that fell in the line of duty.
People and police from all over Utah and some from as far away as California gathered this evening to remember their fallen brother and tell two families they are here to support them.
