Weber County Sheriff's Office investigating two armed robberies

WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - The Weber County Sheriff's Office is investigating two armed robberies that took place Thursday morning at Maverik in Plain City and McDonalds in Farr West.
WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - The Weber County Sheriff's Office is investigating two armed robberies that took place Thursday morning at Maverik in Plain City and McDonalds in Farr West.

Police believe the robberies were committed by the same suspects. 

Two masked men robbed the Maverik convenience store located at 4098 W. 1975 N. in Plain City.

Police say the suspects entered the building and confronted the night clerk at gun point. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money, and were last seeing fleeing the store on foot.

The first suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 22-28 years of age, approximately 6'00" tall, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, with a black bandana covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 22-28 years of age, approximately 6'00" tall, larger build, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, gray, white & blue tennis shoes, with a green bandana covering his face.

Both suspects were armed with handguns but no shots were fired and the clerk was not harmed during the hold-up.
