Utah student headed to D.C. to represent the Beehive state

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - One high school sophomore is headed to the nation's capitol to represent Utah.

Kaylee Peatross is a sophomore at Tooele High School. She has been chosen to represent the state at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington D.C. in February. 

Peatross talks more why she was chosen and what her plans are for the future.
