SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - It was March 31st, nearly six years ago when Hser Ner Moo went missing.
It's a day her mother never forgot
Through a translator her mother testified on the second day of the trial for the man accused of raping and murdering her seven year old daughter in 2008.

“It was the last time I saw her,” testified a tearful Pearlly Wa.
The next day the FBI found her dead body inside a bathroom. She had been raped and murdered.

She was found inside the basement apartment of Esar Met who's on trial for her murder.
Her parents took the stand Wednesday testifying about their daughter.

"I have lost many things in my life but this is the biggest loss of my life because she was my own daughter and she was very happy,” Cartoon Wah testified through a translator. “Everybody around her love her.”

Both testified their daughter was not allowed to be in the homes of strangers. They had no idea who Esar Met was until after his arrest.
Defense attorneys wanted to know if Hser Ner Moo bathed and washed hands daily. That's because prosecutors say Met's DNA was found on the little girl. Both testified she washed frequently.
Nearly six years have passed since her death, but her mother told the jury her heart remains broken.

“I want to tell you and the court that she was the love of my life. If you give me the whole world to change this, happiness,” the mother testified. “I only have one and when I see little girls running around it breaks my heart.”
