Troy Thompson sits down with Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who is an Australian television personality. She is known as daytime's TV Queen in Australia.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley is an Australian television personality.  In fact, she is usually mentioned among the television industry as "Australia's daytime TV Queen", and is often compared to Oprah.

She recently visited Utah, and sat down with Troy Thompson at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley.

Kerri-Anne has been in the business since she was 13 years old.  That's a 47 year career.  She says she always has had the ambition to keep working in the business she loves.  One of her greatest accomplishments was being the co-host of Good Morning Australia.  During the years, she had five different male co-hosts.  She also hosted a program in Australia called Midday.

Kerri-Anne says she has seen the television industry drastically change over the years.  One of the main reasons for the change is Reality TV, where real people have a shot at being stars on television.

She also talked about being a woman in the television industry.  She doesn't believe discrimination exists today, but she says it did at one time, including when she first started her career.

Kerri-Anne says she feels like she's had a truly blessed career.

She as interviewed some of the biggest celebrities including Jane Fonda, John Stamos and Liza Minnelli.
