Glen Mills

For this Beetdigger and Ute it's an honor to be doing what he loves in his home state! Glen is an award winning journalist, who joined the ABC 4 Utah team in June, 2013. He started here as a Weekend Anchor/ Reporter, but quickly transitioned to his current role of Chief Political Correspondent/ Midday Anchor after taking charge of political coverage for the station and gaining the respect and trust of those in the industry. The Utah Headliners Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists recognized Glen as the best government and military television reporter in the state. Before returning to the Salt Lake Valley he spent 11 1/2 years developing his journalism skills in other states. He held various on-air and management positions at KPVI in Pocatello, Idaho, WGBA in Green Bay, Wisconsin and KKCO in Grand Junction, Colorado during that time.

Glen grew up in Sandy where he attended Jordan High School. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Utah. He knew early on in life journalism was for him. Ask any of his friends and they will tell you as a kid he talked about one day anchoring and reporting the news in Salt Lake City.

When he's not at work Glen loves to stay active. Mountain biking, fishing, exploring our beautiful state and trying to keep up with his three children are just some of the things that keep him busy. As a big sports fan he couldn't be happier to be in Utah to cheer on his favorite teams, the University of Utah football and basketball teams and the Utah Jazz.
