Woman flown to hospital after I-15 rollover

PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- A woman was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition after a vehicle she was in rolled on Interstate 15 near Payson Saturday afternoon.
PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- A woman was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition after a vehicle she was in rolled on Interstate 15 near Payson Saturday afternoon.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Mary Kaye Lucas the crash was caused by a single-vehicle rollover near mile marker 247 in the southbound lane. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. A 55-year-old woman was flown to the hospital via helicopter in extremely critical condition. Lucas said there were also five children in the vehicle who suffered minor injuries and were also taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The southbound lanes of I-15 were closed while UHP responded to the crash.
