"Way to Quit" Helps You Find the Best Way to Quit Tobacco

Quitting smoking is a personal experience, Utah's new campaign "Way to Quit" is helping you find what works for you.
Utah’s Tobacco Prevention and Control program has a new brand name, look and website! Quitting tobacco is a personal experience. The new campaign invites Utahans to explore the different options available for quitting via a new website

The way to quit website features information on the Utah Tobacco Quit Line (1.800.QUIT.NOW), online support services (UtahQuitNet.com), text based system (Text the word QUIT to 47848), suggestions for getting help from their physician, and tips and tricks for going it alone. The Way to Quit campaign goal is to encourage Utahans currently using tobacco and nicotine products to find the way to quit that works best for them.

Way to Quit is looking for Utahans ready to share their quit story and be a part of our next ad campaign! One of the best ways to quit tobacco is to let others know that you’re quitting and build a network of support. Are you a smoker who is planning to quit? Or are you a recent tobacco user who is staying strong against tobacco? What bigger way can you share that story than an I-15 billboard or your voice on a radio spot?

Maybe you need to quit for your health or to be sure you’re around to see your kids grow up. Maybe you just want to be able to walk up the stairs without being out of breath. Whatever your reason, it’s the right time to find your way to quit.
