Around 450 elementary and middle school students attended the Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience at the
“Part of our mission is to recruit youth into the industry,” said Eric Tycksen, COO of the Mule Deer Foundation. “It's not a dying sport, but it's something youth should be involved with. We consider them the future hunters and future conservationists of the world. If we don't pass the baton and get them out early we feel we'll miss out on the opportunity.”
