ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - This week we will tell you stories of the eldery here in Utah, living their final days to the fullest thanks to Home Care.

Ardath Broadhead is 90 years old living with Alzheimer's in St. George. While she does well, she needs extra help. She gets help from not just her family and her caretaker Torrie.

Ardath said, "She does anything I want her to do."

Torrie Wright comes to Ardath's home four days a week. She is there for at least two hours taking care of daily responsibilities.

Torrie said, "I come in make her breakfast, get her up, make her bed and we visit."

While those morning responsibilities are important, it is the visit and having someone in the home, that means the world to Ardath.

Ardath said, "She's a wonderful caretaker, I don't know what I would do without her."

While Ardath's family does spend plenty of time with their mother, having the at home visitor in the morning makes life easier for everyone.

The Broadhead family isn't the only one benefiting from this relationship; Torrie loves the experience.

Torrie said, "I love to hug them, love them, they still have a lot to offer and teach."

So much to teach the caretaker, a relief to the family and for the one who is being taken care of the caretaker is an extra visitor. An extra set of hands to make sure Ardeth's lives her life to the fullest.
