Officials report he was located safe and with no injuries. He had taken a cab to his daughter's home in South Jordan and spent the night sleeping in his daughter's car in her backyard.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - According to Unified Police, James Marlyn Jones, 75, was reported missing by his son late Friday night.

Officials say he was last seen at the Golden Living Center in Taylorsville around 8 p.m. Friday.

Jones was last seen wearing dark green pants and a white button down shirt with multicolored stripes.

He is described as Caucasian with gray/hazel eyes, 5'8, and 200 pounds.

He suffers from dementia and is on several medications for various health issues.

Police say Jones recently moved to the Golden Living Center and is not familiar with the area.

A possible sighting of Jones was reported at the Village Inn on 4650 South Redwood Road.
