TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Unified Police responded to a stabbing early Saturday morning and arrested a 17-year-old male as a suspect. Police say the victim is a 39-year-old male who was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The victim was having a party at his house and four juveniles were leaving around 5:30 AM when the victim had a confrontation with the individuals outside his home. A scuffle led to the stabbing and also two of the suspects received minor injuries from being struck with a blunt object. One 18-year-old was booked into Salt Lake County jail for rioting and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Two other 17-year-old males were booked into Salt Lake Valley Detention, one for aggravated assault, assault, rioting, and consumption of alcohol by a minor, the other was booked for tampering with evidence. The fourth suspect was interviewed and found not to be involved and was released. The investigation is still ongoing.
