Two hit-and-runs in Logan, school bus involved

LOGAN, Utah (ABC4Utah) - Logan police have one suspect in custody, and searching for another in two hit-and-run incidents.

LOGAN, Utah (ABC4Utah) - Logan police have one suspect in custody and searching for another in two hit-and-run incidents.

Once crash occurred Monday, August 26 around 9:30 a.m. at 400 North and Main street and did not result in any injuries. Logan Police Lt. Brad Franke said that the driver of the car may have fallen asleep behind the wheel. An eyewitness led the police to the suspect.

Police have evaluated both drivers and the case is being referred to the Cache County Attorney’s Office for pending charges.

The other crash involved a green Jeep that rear-ended a school bus full of students that same afternoon on 100 West. Cache County School District transportation supervisor Wayne Reese says there were no injuries, but some parents decided to take their kids off the bus. Some students on the bus took down the license plate number of the Jeep. Police are currently looking for the perpetrator.
