TRAX train hits car in downtown SLC

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- TRAX trains will be delayed as police handle a crash between a car and a TRAX train near the City Center station downtown.
Update, 1:05 p.m.: The Utah Transit Authority says the crash has been cleared. Northbound and southbound trains on the green line are resuming with residual delays.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- TRAX trains will be delayed as police handle a crash between a car and a TRAX train near the City Center station downtown.

Salt Lake City Police say the crash occurred at around 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday. There were only minor injuries reported in the crash, according to police.

The Utah Transit Authority says TRAX riders can expect delays on the green line to the Salt Lake City International Airport as officials clear the scene near 100 S. Main St.
