A makeover is necessary every once in a while. And, a good place to start is your hair. Once you've made your changes, you need to maintain that look by keeping your hair healthy. Shae Kendell from Marinello School of Beauty helps us all out with tips for summer hair care.
She suggests staying away from gold and red tones for hair color during the summer because they often look brassy due to sun exposure. Kendell also advises not to color your hair this summer with bright and dramatic colors. If you are one to be in the outdoors or chilling in the pool over the summer, both of those components will surely fade out your fresh and fun color.
Everyone knows sunscreen is necessary to protect your skin from the sun. But, you may not know that UV rays can damage your hair as well. Protect your hair with a sunscreen hair spray this summer to keep your hair looking lush and healthy.
And, what about those beach curls everybody wants to achieve? An easy tip: go to the beach and don't wash your hair after your fun day in the ocean. Rinse your hair with water and add a little conditioner to your ends to keep them healthy. This process puts your hair in the perfect condition for a natural beach wave look.
