NORTH LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- A man who allegedly fired at another man in a Walmart parking lot has been arrested Sunday afternoon.

According to North Park Police Chief Kim Hawkes, the suspect, identified as Stacy R. Willis, fired to shots into the back of another man's pickup after claiming that the man owed him money.

Hawkes said the shopper was leaving the store with his wife when Willis started flagging the man down from his Chevrolet S-10 pickup. The man drove over to Willis, who claimed the man owed him money, but the shopper later told police that he had never seen Willis before. That's when the shopper reportedly noticed a gun in Willis' lap, so he drove away.

Police say Willis started following the other driver, which then prompted the man to put his pickup into reverse and ram the front of Willis' vehicle. Police say Willis then fired two shots from his gun. One of the rounds went through the shopper's back window. No one was hit in the shooting.

Willis then drove away from the parking lot. At about 5 p.m., he was located in Richmond and arrested. Hawkes said the suspect complained of a shoulder injury that was exacerbated by the altercation in the parking lot. The suspect was taken to Cache Valley Hospital for treatment before being booked into jail.
