Suicidal person detained, precautionary lock downs lifted for Bountiful schools

BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Several schools were placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon after reports of a suicidal person in the area.
BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Several schools were placed on lock down Thursday afternoon after reports of a suicidal person in the area. Around 3:30 p.m. Bountiful police located and detained suicidal subject.

The person was thought to be armed. 

Schools affected were Bountiful High, Millcreek Junior High, Mueller Park Junior High, Bountiful Elementary, Oak Hills Elementary, and Valley View Elementary.

Around 2:30 p.m., Bountiful police announced via tweets that Bountiful High, Mueller Park, Valley View, Oak Hills, would be let out as usual and regular dismissal would resume.

Around 2:50 p.m. all schools affected were released EXCEPT Bountiful Elementary. 

Around 3:30 p.m. Bountiful police located and detained suicidal subject. Lockdown at Bountiful Elementary was lifted as well.
