SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - It's now just hours away from the start of Salt Lake Comic Con. The big event kicks off Thursday. The stars are already rolling in and organizers finishing up some last minute work.

In a late major announcement Wednesday, Leonard Nimoy, or Spock from Star Trek, will be participating in the Con. Once the show gets going, he's just one of many stars you'll be able to see.

Get ready to get your geek on, the stars are coming to town for Salt Lake Comic Con. Reporter Brian Carlson met Barbara Eden and Bill Daily from "I Dream of Jeannie" as they walked in Wednesday afternoon.

"It's so much fun, I must tell you, meeting people who really like you, haha. It's fun," said Barbara Eden, I Dream of Jeannie.

For some actors like Bill it's his first time in Utah.

"It's got a lot of charm, and it's so clean and neat and nice, and the hotel is outrageous, you're a little tacky, but hell this guy draws straight?" said Bill Daily, I Dream of Jeannie.

Lou Ferrigno is no stranger here. Wednesday the Incredible Hulk, Manu Bennet of Arrow and Jason David Frank, the Green Power Ranger, all worked out together at Lifetime Fitness in South Jordan.

"You wanna have your energy right at the top, so it's always good to make sure you're doing your fitness work in between," said Manu Bennett, Arrow.

"You can tell they're not elite like I am at weight training, it's like I got two kids next to me," said Lou Ferrigno, The Incredible Hulk.

"Uh he gave me some pointers, some tips on how to build my biceps, as you can, as you can tell I'm just working you know?" said Jason David Frank, Green Ranger, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

While the stars are working out, vendors are working on setting up their booths. Salt Lake Comic Con Co-Founder Dan Farr said there's a lot to do in the final 24 hours before doors open to crowds.

"It is hectic, but there's a real element of fun... this is my pay day for me this is what I do, I do it for the emotional feeling, of fans have a good time," said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Co-Founder.

And the next thing you know, it'll be here in the blink of an eye.
