Actor Charlie Sheen has been branded a "d**k" by animal rights campaigners for attending the Running of the Bulls during the annual San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, Spain.

The event, in which bulls are let loose among crowds on the city streets, ended Monday.

Sheen was photographed on the balcony of a hotel in Pamplona with his girlfriend Brett Rossi on Friday, and his attendance at the event has infuriated campaigners.

Mimi Bekhechi, associate director of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals UK, says, "Charlie Sheen, please don't make us call you a 'proper Charlie', which in England means being a d**k for going to the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. We're sure that you see red, too, so you should be able to relate to the bulls who are killed in cowardly ways."

On Tuesday, the hard-living former "Two and a Half Men" star was back to his partying lifestyle in California as he was filmed drunk at a Taco Bell restaurant. In the short clip, the actor is seen chatting to customers and slurring his words as he tells them, "Hi, I'm Charlie. Sorry I'm so f**king hammered."

He then shows off several of his tattoos before adding, "You're hilarious. Right on - cool!" and heading back to join his pals.
