The American flag and blue ribbons guided the procession through its final leg from 1700 East to 10600 South. It was an overwhelming sight for Sgt. Johnson's father and brother.
Law enforcement agencies united to escort a fallen brother to his final resting spot.
"It's an honor to be part of this brotherhood today. It's a great honor and he was a wonderful, wonderful police officer and wonderful human being,” says one of Draper’s first police officers, Allen Thomas.
The casket was guided through the Corridor of Honor by pallbearers from the Draper Police Department.
A flag was presented to Johnson’s son, wife, mother and grand mother.
A touching tribute to a hero who was then relieved of duty for the final time over dispatch.
