Severe weather causes problems across Salt Lake Valley

A severe storm caused problems all over Salt Lake valley Thursday. Thousands of homes were without power and many schools had a delayed start or were canceled altogether. The morning commute saw slide offs and accidents from freezing rain and snow with delays on all the major highways.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - A severe storm caused problems all over Salt Lake valley Thursday.  Thousands of homes were without power and many schools had a delayed start or were canceled altogether.  The morning commute saw slide offs and accidents from freezing rain and snow with delays on all the major highways.

School delays and closures:
Robert Frost Elementary will be closed on Thursday.

Valley Jr High will start at 9 AM.

Bryant Middle School will start at 10:30 AM.
