SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams says there's no place in his county for discrimination.

It is apart of his inclusion campaign in partnership with the Office of Diversity Affairs announced Wednesday.

The county is the most diverse in the state and boasts a five percent population of refugees.

During the news conference, the mayor unveiled this sign that read, “Salt Lake County welcomes all.”

“Often times it's easiest to gravitate to what we know best. But sometimes its good to go out of our comfort zones to recognize that there are people who are culturally different than us ethnically different than us and appreciating those differences can make us better and enrich our lives,” said McAdams.

All county employees will complete diversity awareness training by the end of the year.
