ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Police arrested a 19-year-old man for trashing his step-dad’s motorcycle.

According to a probable cause statement, Alec Young would not stop playing video games, so his step-dad, Richard Marquez, turned the Xbox off himself.  That’s when Young flew into a rage, throwing remotes at his step-dad, breaking them both.

Young did not stop there, though.  He then went into the garage, pulled out a knife, and started attacking Marquez’s 2009 Custom Harley Davidson, valued at more than $40,000.  Police report that Young continued to punch and hit the bike until the blade broke completely off the handle.

Finally, police say Young got into his own car and “floored” it into the motorcycle and then the garage wall.

Young is now facing several charges including Domestic Violence Simple Assault. He later told police he was supposed to be taking anti-anxiety medication and anti-depressants but that he had failed to take them before he acted out.
