Pet food pantry can furry friends out of the shelter

As heartbreaking as it may sound, many pets in Utah are going hungry. Some people don't have enough money to feed them. Best Friends Animal Society has opened a pet food pantry.

The pet food pantry can keep those who have fallen on hard times from giving up their pet(s) to the shelter.

Temma Martin explains how you can help.

Drop off donations of dry or canned food at the pet adoption center (2005 S 1100 East in Salt Lake City) 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday or 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays. You can go right to the back door and ring the bell, or visit the front counter.
