Tooele County Sheriff’s detectives say that while feeding his horses early Monday morning, the owner noticed one horse was missing from the corral.
Officials say the man found the gate open and followed horse tracks and a blood trail through his pasture until he found the animal lying dead just south of Smelter Road.
