City spokesman Marc Mortensen tells The Spectrum that repairing a wall will cost about $62,000, and the cost of other repairs is still being determined.
Mortensen says the damage could have been much worse because transformers were located near the plane. They weren't affected.
Authorities say 40-year-old Brian Hedglin was on leave from his job as a SkyWest pilot when he scaled a razor wire-topped fence at the airport and got into the plane early Tuesday. It crashed in the parking lot before getting off the ground.
Hedglin was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
