SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Police continue searching for a man who they say robbed a U.S. Bank this morning. It happened shortly after the branch in the Smith's store on 2100 South opened.

A man walked in and handed a teller a note demanding cash.

The teller gave him an unknown amount of money and he got away.

Salt Lake City police describe him as a white man in his mid-to-late 40s, weighing about 200 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white hat and a blue sweatshirt. On the front, it read 8A7 with the number seven written across it.

Less than an hour later another bank robbery was reported, this time at the Chase Bank on Woodland Avenue in Millcreek.

Once again, a man walked into the bank, gave the teller a note demanding money, and got away.

Similar to the U.S. Bank robbery, the man showed no weapons, and nobody was hurt.
