SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints told members of the Utah-based faith to defend their faith and avoid pornography during the church's 184th Annual General Conference.

"Defend your beliefs with courtesy and compassion, but defend them," said Elder Jeffrey R. Holland during the Saturday conference's Saturday morning session.

That talk already had members, young and old, taking notes.

"We should not break any of the commandments," said one young boy at the conference center as he studied his notebook.

Church leaders also addressed topics like what happens after death.

Elder Quentin L. Cook quoted the Book of Job: "'If a man die, shall he live again?' The answer is a resounding 'Yes!' Because of the atoning sacrifice of the Savior."

The conference will conclude Sunday during two sessions in the morning and afternoon.
