Massage parlor crackdown lands two behind bars

OREM, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Two women now sit in Utah County Jail for providing extra services at their massage parlor in Orem.
OREM, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Two women now sit in Utah County Jail for providing extra services at their massage parlor in Orem.

Annong Zhao, the owner of Spring Massage and one of her employees, Hong Zhang were booked into the Utah County Jail Monday.

The arrests followed an undercover investigation of the parlor, which was located in a residential neighborhood.

“He made an appt went in got a massage at end of massage was offered more than a massage for more money that investigation turned over to detective who wrote search warrant for the business served yesterday,” said Lt. Craig Martinez with Orem Police Department.

Both women face misdemeanor charges of sexual solicitation and unlawful conduct.

Police say they only advertised their business online, and accepted clients by appointment only.

Lieutenant Martinez says while this is the first business of its kind in recent Orem history, it's likely more exist in Utah.
