Macy's Department Stores have a new partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association, which helps raise funds for more than 550 local parks nationwide.

Beginning on Friday, March 7 to Monday, March 31, customers can visit their local Macy's store and donate $1 or more at the register, with 100 percent of donations benefiting that store's selected local park. To further spread the love, Macy's will match customer donations across all stores, dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000 in total.

Here in Utah, local store managers have chosen the following parks in which to support:

  • Cottonwood - Creekside Park
  • Layton Hills - Layton Commons Park
  • University - Nielson's Grove
  • City Creek - Liberty Park
  • South Towne Center - Alta Canyon Park
  • Valley Fair - Centennial Park
