"Brought the boy out to get the wife some last minute gifts,” said shopper Jaron Fry.
It isn't just the men out looking for that last minute, perfect present.
"Just how I roll,” said Jamie Ellis who said she does this every year.
A night before the guy in a red suit is supposed to visit, shoppers are scrambling.
“I finish it up a day or two before Christmas,” said Jamie.
Malls and shopping centers throughout the city are seeing the last minute buyers. Some purposely wait because of the bargains.
"There's great deals here today,” Jamie explained.
But Lori and Jenna Jeffs have already finished up their gift shopping.
"I sent my brother a Barbie,” Jenna joked.
But because of the deals, they’re treating themselves, and purchased matching red jackets.
But others have it harder. Kadan has just hours left to find that perfect gift for his mom.
"Well, I don't know yet,” said Kadan.
Like father, like son.
“It's kind of a tradition, but we're always finding ourselves last minute shopping," said Kadan’s dad Jaron.
But for those really waiting until the last second, if not today, there’s always tomorrow
