KEARNS, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- A man is in custody after making a bomb threat that officials later determined were false Wednesday.

Around 9 a.m. Wednesday, Unified Police responded to 5630 S. Honeysuckle Way (5370 West) after a report of an argument. The suspect, identified as Christopher England, 35, allegedly told police that he had an explosive in his car and threatened to detonate it. The threat prompted the lockdown of the nearby Beehive Elementary School in Kearns and the evacuation of homes in the vicinity of 5600 South and 5470 West.

Upon further investigation, officials determined that England did not actually have an explosive in his car. The lockdown was lifted at about 11:30 a.m.
