Get Hair Out of Carpet and Unclog Your Drains

Easy ways to get rid of these household problems with products you already have at home!
Joanie Bates from Molly Maid shared some great tips today for cleaning hair out of carpet and unclogging shower drains. All you need to try these cleaning tips out yourself is baking soda, vinegar, and a sponge!

To unclog shower drains that are backed up with conditioner, hairspray, and soap simply pour baking soda and vinegar into the drain. The solution will bubble. Let the baking soda and vinegar stay in the drain for at least three minutes, then rinse out with water. If your drain is still clogged, try checking for hair that has gotten caught in the pipe.

Vacuuming does not always pick up hair from carpet or couches, and now you do not need a lint roller to get rid of this unwanted hair! Using a damp sponge, press down and drag across the desired surface (carpet or fabric). Make sure you rinse the sponge before you start cleaning because it is possible for the color to spread across the surface.
