PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Utah County Search and Rescue crews rescued a missing dirt biker from an mountain edge near Pleasant Grove Tuesday morning.

John Parker, 39, was out dirt biking Monday night and ended up stuck in a river. Search crews conducted an air search to find him.

They tracked his cell phone to get a general idea of where he is, but still had to cover a good amount of area to cover.

"I wanted to make sure I was in a field somewhere where I kinda stood out because I figured they would be worried," said Parker.

"I ended up turning around. I crossed back over the stream, the rocks were kind of slick. My bike just started going in the stream and down the waterfall," he said.

Parker managed to save himself, his bike still in the stream is being recovered.

"I was soaked by then, it was a long cold night. I wonder if I have any enamel on my teeth from chattering so much," said Parker.

Suffering from a little Hyperthermia, Parker was able to go home with his family.
