During our coverage of southern Utah in our Good 4 Utah Road Tour we told you about the Parowan Gap. Now there's an exciting upcoming event that features the Parowan Gap and it's petroglyphs.

This year's Summer Solstice Sunset Event at Parowan Gap will reveal upcoming development plans for the site, an activity where kids can create their own petroglyph, as well as watching the sun set down the middle of the Gap as depicted on the "Zipper Glyph". The event is scheduled for June 21 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Bonnie Char Hallman, public relations specialist with Cedar City/ Brian Head Tourism Bureau, talks more about the event.
