Charges filed against Tim Lawson

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office and the Davis County Attorney’s Office, in their ongoing investigation pertaining to allegations of wrongdoing related to the Utah Attorney General’s Office, filed criminal charges against Timothy Lawson Thursday.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office and the Davis County Attorney’s Office, in their ongoing investigation pertaining to allegations of wrongdoing related to the Utah Attorney General’s Office, filed criminal charges against Timothy Lawson Thursday.

Lawson is charged with one count of racketeering, two counts of tax evasion, one count of witness retaliation and two counts of obstruction of justice. 

The charges in the accompanying Information constitute Second and Third Degree Felonies, each of which are punishable by maximum prison terms of 15 years and five years respectively.
