DAYBREAK, Utah (ABC 4 Sports) - Triathlons are becoming more popular among athletes who are trying to find new ways to compete and stay in shape.

ABC-4 Utah's Wesley Ruff decided to see if he could complete the Daybreak Triathlon this past weekend, and he lived to tell the tale.

The triathlon consists of three events: swimming, biking and running. Each triathlon has different lengths. The Daybreak sprint triathlon consisted of a 750 meter swim, a 14 mile bike ride and a five kilometer run. There is also an Olympic triathlon, with distances roughly double of the sprint.

Check out the video to see how Wesley did.
