Judge Memorial, Skyline advance to 4A girls basketball championship

Bulldogs beat Box Elder, while Eagles knocks off Timpview

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - Judge Memorial's hot streak continues. The Bulldogs won their 10th straight game, advancing to their first 4A girls basketball championship game with a 45-35 win over Box Elder at Salt Lake Community College.

Vanessa Austin had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Bulldogs, while Miyalla Tarver added 14 points, as Judge Memorial held Box Elder to just four points in the 4th quarter.

Emily Isaacson and Keslee Stevenson each had 15 points to lead the Bees.

Judge will next face Skyline in the 4A title game on Saturday.

Hannah Andel scored 14 points, while Cameron Mooney added 13 as Skyline outscored Timpview by 27-15 in the second half on their way to a 52-45 victory.

The Eagles trailed by five at the half, but clamped down on the T-Birds in the second half.

Kealani Neves was the only Timpview player to score in double figures with 16 points.

Skyline and Judge Memorial split two games this season, with the Eagles winning at home, 57-51, and the Bulldogs winning on their home court two weeks ago, 57-48.
