Jazz stay unbeaten in preseason with 120-102 win over Phoenix

Ricky Rubio scores 20 points, while Donovan Mitchell adds 17

PHOENIX (ABC4 Sports) - In their first preseason game without the injured Dante Exum, the Jazz still blew past the Phoenix Suns for the second time in four nights, winning another preseason game, 120-102.

The Jazz are now 4-0 in the preseason.

Ricky Rubio scored 20 points on 8 of 10 shooting in just 15 minutes of action, while rookie Donovan Mitchell added 17 points off the bench in the Jazz victory.

The Jazz defense forced 31 Phoenix turnovers.

Exum dislocated his shoulder in Friday's win over the Suns, and it is not knows how long he will be out. Starting center Rudy Gobert did not play Monday night because of rest.

Rookie Tony Bradley added 13 points, while Alec Burks scored in double figures for the third straight game, finishing with 10 points. Derrick Favors filled up the stat sheet with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Utah scored 67 points in the first half and led by 24 points at the break.

The Jazz shot 52 percent from the field, while holding the Suns to 46 percent shooting.

The Jazz finish the preseason Tuesday night in Los Angeles against the Lakers, with their season opener set for October 18th at home against Denver.
