Emery wins second straight 2A baseball title

OREM, Utah (ABC 4 Sports) - The Emery High baseball team won three games in one day to win its second straight 2A state championship.

The Spartans beat Beaver 13-6 to advance to the championship round where they had to beat Grand County twice.

After beating the Red Devils 12-3, the Spartans offense could not be stopped as Emery romped to a 16-9 win in the championship game. The Spartans scored 41 runs on 41 hits in three games.

Tanner Lake went 7 for 11 with 7 RBI on the day, while Ethan Tuttle had seven hits and five runs batted in.
