KANARRAVILLE, Utah (News4Utah)- Search and rescue crews in Iron County were called to a popular southern Utah hike Monday afternoon on reports that a woman had fallen and possibly broken her legs.
Police say the report came in around 3:30 p.m. from the Kanarraville Falls hike.
Crews with Iron County Sheriffs' Office, Iron County Search and Rescue and Iron County Ropes responded and were able to bring the 26-year-old woman to safety.
"Alcohol is believed to have been a contribution factor in the fall as well as the slick conditions," Lt. Del Schlosser with Iron County Sheriff's Office said.
Lt. Schlosser says the rescue took about four hours and 25 rescue personnel.
