Utah Department of Public Safety
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - The Utah Department of Transportation released a report on Tuesday documenting fatalities from crashes on Utah roads.  The release states there were 219 traffic accident fatalities in 2013 compared to 217 last year.

UDOT says nearly half of all the fatalities were the result of not wearing a seat belt.  UDOT officials encourage drivers to "...wear your seat belt, slow down, put away your phone and never drive drowsy or impaired."
