Woman crashes into home with stolen vehicle

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) - A woman is behind bars today after leading police on a chase through West Valley City in a stolen vehicle. 

25-year-old Jasmine Rodriguez was spotted driving a stolen car near 3650 South 3250 West. Police tried to pull her over, but she led them on a chase through West Valley City. 

She crashed the stolen vehicle into a house at 2411 West 3800 South. 

From there, she fled on foot. Police dogs were able to sniff her out and find her hiding at a nearby apartment complex.  

Rodriguez was booked into jail. 

Police don't know if she was the person who initially stole the car.
